Fuel-card provider Allstar has renewed its longstanding relationship with the Crown Commercial Service, which offers procurement advice and processes to over 3,000 public-sector organisations.
The firm has worked with the CCS for over two decades, and its recertification ensures Allstar cards will continue to facilitate the filling-up and recharging of public-sector fleet vehicles such as police cars and ambulances.
As part of the renewed agreement Allstar had to meet an updated CCS framework, which requires firms to affirm their commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 at the latest, in-line with nationwide targets.
Complying with the framework and renewing its agreement with CCS means organisations can easily sign up to Allstar, whose services include fuel cards, plus reporting, spending and compliance-management controls.
The company highlights its long-term partnership with Kent Police, which comprises a “tailored fuel and EV payment solution” that supports the constabulary’s 1,600-plus vehicles, including 85 EVs.
Paul Holland, managing director for UK/ANZ fleet at Allstar’s parent company, Corpay, commented that the “renewed CCS agreement allows us to support mixed fleets in the real world, providing the payment methods, reporting capability and operational tools organisations need to transition at a pace that is sustainable, affordable and operationally realistic for their needs”.
He added the firm is “proud to continue playing a role in helping UK organisations, no matter which vehicle type they use”.
