2015 Indie 5000  Dinner – June 2 – Hilton Birmingham Metropole


Forecourt Trader held a new networking event on June 2, 2015, to complement the well-established annual Forecourt Forum, organised by the ACS and the PRA, which was held in the same venue the following day.


This new event was branded Indie 5000, as a nod to the successful format established by the Top 50 Indies dinner, but this dinner was aimed at recognising and extending the networking opportunity to those retailers with a handful of sites or fewer, who make up the majority of the independent fuel retailing network.


The Indie 5000 Dinner as expected proved to be a great night out, and gave retailers the opportunity to network with other like-minded colleagues. Key industry suppliers, senior executives from both the ACS and PRA were also in attendance.


The evening consisted of a three-course meal, an entertaining and informative speaker line-up; which many attended as an ideal prelude to the following day’s Forecourt Forum, of which comprised of a variety of insightful industry presentations.
