OPW Fueling Components EMEA, a global business unit of OPW Fueling Components Group, has established a technical university dedicated to its Avance by OPW family of fuelling nozzles, breakaways and hoses.
The Avance technical university has been developed to offer Avance training seminars, which have been designed to ensure Avance service technicians are more effective through hands-on training. The next on-site Avance training seminars, which will be held over two days at OPW’s European headquarters in Prague, have been scheduled for:
• October 16-17 and 18-19
• November 20-21 and 22-23
The Avance technical university also provide customers in the EMEA region with localised support through online instruction via repair videos, troubleshooting topics, service and maintenance manuals.
To enroll candidates should email marketing@opw-fce.com. On-site training seminars may also be conducted at customer facilities.
“Prior to its launch, the Avance was tested thoroughly and completed, on average, more than 1.5 million shut-off cycles before maintenance was needed,” explained Carman Kobza, managing director of OPW EMEA. “However, as with any OPW product, the company developed this Technical University to provide complete technical support, which is a key component in the continued success of our channel partners.”
OPW’s Avance next-generation nozzle and system solution, which was introduced to the EMEA market in April 2012, is the direct result of extensive research. The company claims Avance’s technical innovations will increase profitability, decrease service and maintenance costs for operators, and protect customers and the environment during the filling process. The Avance product line is available as a conventional nozzle, a vapour-recovery nozzle, and as a fully certified and complete system solution with Avance hose and Avance swivel breakaways. The multi-plane Avance swivel breakaway is designed to rotate 360 degrees around its axis and 70 degrees from side to side, for customer convenience and safety. All Avance components are described as being fully compatible and retrofittable.
