Police are seeking help from petrol retailers who may have helpful CCTV footage following an armed robbery at a jewellers in Lacock, Wiltshire, last week.
The incident happened shortly after 10am on Wednesday 23 March 2016 at Watling Goldsmiths in East Street. Detective Sergeant Ian Magrath said: "We now believe four people were involved in this incident. Three of them entered the jewellers wearing balaclavas, hoods and masks, while one of them stayed in a vehicle outside.
"We believe a white 4x4 vehicle was used during the incident and would appeal to anyone who may have seen or heard a vehicle matching this description, or anything else suspicious in the area at the time to get in touch immediately.
"A Ford Kuga was found abandoned nearby soon after the incident but we are still interested in hearing from anyone with information that may help us with our enquiries.
"I would like to reassure the local community that we are carrying out a robust investigation into this shocking incident."
Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident, but staff were understandably shocked.
Anyone who has information regarding the robbery is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if preferred.
