Launching this month, the healthy, high-protein range is designed to appeal to "fitness orientated and nutritionally engaged men".

Staying true to Men’s Health’s core nutritional values, the nine recipes all contain at least one of your five a day, are a source of fibre, are high in protein and low in fat, sugar, salt and oil. Rrp is £3 for a 425g meal.

The range includes Beef & Kale Hotpot with Sweet Potato, Pulled Chilli Beef & Okra with Wild Rice, Thai Red Chicken Curry with Spinach & Wild Rice and King Prawn & Pomegranate with Persian Rice. All the protein is from natural sources; no added whey or powders, just meat and grains.

With its existing Men’s Health Fuel beef jerky, the brand has proven experience in the food industry and engages with over three million consumers across its magazine, online channels and Survival of the Fittest events. The ready meal launch will be supported via the Men’s Health channels, along with digital and PR campaigns and activity at the London Marathon.
