Scandinavian Tobacco Group UK (STG UK) is releasing a second edition of the Gantry Guardians Guide to Tobacco to help retailers get preparations under way in their stores, ahead of the display ban arriving in April 2015.

The Gantry Guardians Guide to Tobacco Part II provides retailers with concise information and useful tools such as a countdown calendar, highlighting the crucial actions they need to take each month before the market goes dark. The guide also includes peer-to-peer advice from STG UK’s Gantry Guardians, who have contributed their opinions and experiences.

James Higgs, head of marketing and public affairs, commented: “Since the launch of our project in June, we’ve been working closely with our Gantry Guardians to support them and other retailers on the various factors that need to be considered ahead of the display ban.  With less than six months to go until the arrival of the dark market, retailers need to be strategic in their preparations.
