This month sees the launch of the evoPOS system from TLM Technologies.
Designed specifically for the convenience and fuel sector, it aims to not just fulfil the functionality of traditional EPOS systems, but includes advanced features that more closely align with a modern retail environment.
Group sales and marketing director Paul Muncey said the system had been built from the ground-up for a mobile-first world: “evoPOS offers exciting new functionality like self-checkout, mobile payment and the queue-busting capabilities of tablet EPOS.
“As the pathway-to-purchase is increasingly influenced by these sorts of digital trends, evoPOS is developed on a non-proprietary open platform that can change quickly and adapt to whatever the future holds.
“It is the next step towards a faster and more flexible EPOS that will help capture new income, boost profit margins and get you ahead of the competition.”
Commenting on the release, Lee Papper, chief executive at TLM Technologies, said “This is a proud moment for TLM. Two years ago, we transformed our business to start developing software after realising that the convenience and fuel market was no longer going to be adequately serviced with the necessary technology to take those businesses into the future.
“It was a bold step and evoPOS is the first fruits of that labour. What we have created not only measures up to what the market needs but is completely changing the game on what retailers can expect from the technology solutions powering their business.”
evoPOS is available to buy now, and for a limited time TLM will be offering early-bird discounts. It will also be demonstrating the software at the NCS show at the NEC from 16-18 April.
