Officers from Essex Police are investigating after threats were made to harm a man at a petrol station on Canvey Island.
The incident occurred at the Esso petrol station in Somnes Avenue on the afternoon of Tuesday August 2, and officers were called to the scene.
The force is appealing for witnesses to come forward and speak with police.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We were called to reports of a disturbance in Somnes Avenue, Canvey Island, at 2.55pm on Tuesday 2 August. It was reported threats had been made to harm a man in his 40s.
