Gulf Retail, the principal sponsor of the 2016 Forecourt Trader Awards and corporate supporter of the Petrol Retailers Association, has confirmed its participation in the 2017 Forecourt Show.
Alongside a large exhibition stand, Gulf will sponsor the entrance to the show which takes place from 24-26 April at the NEC, Birmingham. This biennial event is the leading UK forum for the petrol retailing and forecourt convenience sector and visitors will have the chance to see at close quarters the Gulf Milwaukee BMW S1000RR World Superbike contender, built by Shaun Muir Racing.
There are now more than 500 Gulf-branded petrol forecourts nationwide, supplied by Certas Energy, and the decision to invest in the Forecourt Show is one of several recent initiatives designed to support the company’s growth plans as it looks to establish Gulf as the leading dealer fuel brand in the UK.
“The Forecourt Show is important for our industry and we are delighted to take a leading role,” said Ramsay MacDonald, retail director, Certas Energy. “These are exciting times for the Gulf network as we continue to invest in personnel, infrastructure and marketing and drive new business through acquisition and evolution.”
Certas Energy recently renegotiated some of its long-term UK supply contracts to assure its dealers of a long-term commitment to the UK market.
“Every dealer visiting the show should come and visit the Gulf stand (S121) to compare our way of doing business with their existing fuel supplier,” added MacDonald. “They will not be disappointed with the quality of our experienced personnel or their commitment and hands on approach to driving up dealer revenues. Our package is first rate, competitive and flexible and it’s no coincidence that the more we enhance the offer the more our network grows in size and quality.
“We already have the best and most competitive card package in the industry. Our aim is to ensure that every aspect of our offering reflects positively against the very best of the competition. Our Endurance range of premium fuels is already boosting forecourt revenues while Gulf’s global partnerships with Manchester United and the World Superbike team, Milwaukee BMW, is revitalising the brand and drawing new customers to forecourt.
“At the Forecourt Show, among other initiatives, we shall launch a new uniform range. Influenced by Gulf’s racing heritage. In style and quality, it is head and shoulders above any other in the sector. We aim to follow this with a stunning collection of branded clothing for general sale, providing another revenue opportunity for Gulf dealers.”
