Car washes will be a key part of the International Forecourt & Fuel Equipment Show (IFFE) as it will be the venue for an open meeting of the Car Wash Campaign Group, which will take place on the Monday morning of the show (April 7). The Group’s aim is to represent the interests of responsible car wash sites and campaign

against those that operate outside regulations - typically hand car washes.

Meanwhile car wash company Atlantis will be showing off the Karcher CB2 high-end machine at the show. The company is the exclusive UK distributor for Karcher. Atlantis managing director, Peter Spencer, said the car wash was a best seller because of its reliability. "We’re delighted to be back at IFFE," he said.

"Also on our stand we’ll have a vacuum cleaner and jetwash plus our redesigned water recycling system which now features a more environmentally-friendly plastic tank. It’s drought-compliant which means forecourts can still use it even if there is a drought order."

IFFE 2008 takes place at the Birmingham NEC from April 6-9. To register, log onto [http://www.forecourtshow.com]. Your ticket to IFFE will also entitle you to free entry into the Convenience Retailing Show.
