Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) is launching two new Monster variants: khaos and energy shots. The energy shots contain taurine and ginseng.
The company, which has distributed Monster since January 2009, says the brand is now the number two 500ml canned energy drink within the UK.
It is also the third largest stimulation energy brand (AC Nielsen MAT total coverage to January 16, 2010).
With retail sales of £11.6m in the UK (source as before) and a brand awareness of 38% (Engage Research Nov ’09), CCE hopes to replicate the growth that has made Monster the number one energy drinks brand in the US (AC Nielsen data).
To celebrate the launch, CCE is giving readers of Forecourt Trader the chance to win outers of Monster Energy Shots.
