Police in Herefordshire have confirmed that a man has been arrested as part of their investigation into a series of bilking offences that have been going on for over a decade.

The thefts have been committed at many different forecourts in the south of the county.

Speaking about the arrest, Inspector Neil Whitchurch, said a 56-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of theft. “This arrest has come about as a result of information passed on by the public and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has come forward and offered us information to aid our investigation.”
