Police are investigating an attempted theft of an ATM at the BP forecourt in Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent.
At approximately 1.55am on August 20, attempts were made to remove the free-standing cash machine, but the raiders failed and fled the scene.
Police have arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with the incident.
