GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) has extended its Ribena range with the launch of a raspberry variant available in a 500ml bottle and 288ml carton.

 

The company says the new addition adds a "delicious new dimension to the Ribena brand, driving incremental sales and building on the recent phenomenal success of strawberry Ribena".

 

It adds that Raspberry Ribena capitalises on consumer demand for raspberry-flavoured products.

 

With research indicating that 82% of people would buy raspberry Ribena in addition to their current repertoire (Source: MMR product test October 2009, Monadic Scores), GSK says the exciting new flavour offers retailers the chance to take advantage of the profitable raspberry opportunity.

 

To celebrate the product launch, GSK is giving retailers the chance to get their hands on £50-worth of Raspberry Ribena. There are five prizes up for grabs.
