Forecourts across the UK battled against heavy snow last month to ensure they could still serve their local communities.

Readers from Wales, Scotland and from Somerset in the south to Durham in the north of England reported having to clear snow from forecourts.

Fuel volumes were down for many as drivers avoided going out, but some locations saw increased sales of hot food and items such as bread and milk.

Meanwhile oil companies reported that most deliveries were still getting through, although they were unable to reach some garages in Wales due to blocked roads.
