
Helix, Shell’s brand of engine oil, has undergone a packaging redesign featuring the Ferrari Prancing Horse logo to mark the partnership between the oil giant and the motorsport legend.
The fresh packaging follows in the footsteps of a new marketing campaign titled ‘Unleash the Power Within’, which features Ferrari’s Formula 1 drivers, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, and marks 75 years of partnership between Shell, and F1 team Scuderia Ferrari HP (the ‘HP’ being short for Hewlett-Packard).
Helix engine oil will now come in a bronze container, complete with the famed Ferrari shield featuring the Prancing Horse (officially known as Cavallino Rampante).
The brand says the new look is intended to provide a “bold, modern evolution”, while the packaging will highlight Shell’s claim that using Helix can improve an engine’s power, responsiveness and economy.
