A staff member at a filling station was punched in the stomach during a robbery in Wigan.
At 1.20am on Friday 18 April 2014, three men forced their way through the front door of the BP petrol station on Warrington Road, Goose Green.
One of them walked up to an employee and hit him several times before taking money from the tills and a large quantity of cigarettes. The other two men waited for the offender before all three got into a silver or grey car and drove off in the direction of Marus Bridge.
One man wore a forensic type white paper suit with a hood, one had a light blue hooded top with the hood up and grey tracksuit bottoms and the other wore all black clothing.
Detective constable Matt Higham of Greater Manchester Police said: “There were three staff members inside at the time of the robbery and one of them was assaulted. Clearly, this has left them all in shock.
“We are determined to catch the men but need your help in doing so. Did you see these men get out of a silver or grey car at the time of the robbery or drive off towards Marus Bridge? If you did, we are keen to speak to you.”
