Werther’s Original is launching a sugar free variant, and is giving readers the chance to win £50-worth of product. Four prizes are available.
The new butter candies have fewer calories than the original, but retain their classic creamy taste. Manufacturer Bendicks reckons Werther’s Original is leading the confectionery market in satisfying consumer demand for a less fattening indulgence product.
The company says the new variety is an excellent way to maximise sales, particularly in the New Year when many consumers watch their weight. The sweets will benefit from marketing support directly targeted at the huge diet and diabetic markets.
Werther’s Original sugar free come in 90g bags and retail at 95p.
