Batteries manufacturer Varta aims to help retailers maximise sales during the World Cup this summer by putting five high-powered football-themed prizes up for grabs.

 

The company says the differing levels of power and endurance adopted by athletes across sports is the concept at the heart of its Tri-Energy range, so each prize consists of a counter display unit (CDU) of Varta Tri-Energy batteries with football branding (retail value approx £170).

 

Each CDU comes with 30 packs of four x AA High Energy batteries and 13 packs of four x AAA High Energy batteries.

 

Varta’s Tri-Energy range consists of three levels of battery performance to help simplify the consumer buying process as research shows that a third of consumers are overwhelmed by the choice of batteries in stores and then end up not making a purchase at all.
