Walkers has brought four of its leading single serve snack brands together under a new ’99 Calories or Less’ banner. The range comprises Quavers, Wotsits, Squares and French Fries. There are also new pack designs to coincide with a ’New Year New Me’ consumer message.
Delphine Haas, marketing manager at Walkers Snacks, says: "Over half our consumers are adults, primarily women, and it is a little known secret among a small group of them that these brands happen to be lower in calories."
Walkers has developed a range of point of sale solutions to help retailers maximise awareness of the range. It recommends merchandising the snacks alongside other ’Better For You’ products.
