Chupa Chups’ character Chuck is getting his first ever Facebook campaign in the UK. He is described as a "laid back teenager who, like Chupa Chups confectionery, helps to make life less serious". Product manager for Chupa Chups, David Leal, explained: "This is a first for Perfetti Van Melle as we have never used social media for a Chupa Chups campaign in the UK and are looking forward to seeing the positive impact of this launch on sale here." The Chuck character also appears on his own website: Although lollies are Chupa Chups’ flagship lines, the brand now also offers Big Babol bubblegum and Cotton Candy bubblegum, both in strawberry and tutti frutti flavours.
