PepsiCo is spending £5m on the relaunch of PJ Smoothies, which it acquired last year. This will include new-look packaging and flavours as well as a TV advertising campaign with the slogan ‘Want fruit, Drink Fruit’.
The 250ml range features eight flavours, including four Super Smoothies which offer additional functional benefits. A new 1ltr range has also been introduced.
PepsiCo is expecting the brand to perform exceptionally well this year. Marketing manager Cara Beeby said: “PJ Smoothies is consistently identified as the number one brand in consumer taste tests and the smoothies sector is growing fast.”
