Cadbury UK is bringing its Creme Egg Twisted ads back to TV this month as well as running a national sampling campaign targeting Haloween sales.

The ads, out on October 6, carry the strapline "It’s no Creme Egg... it’s Twisted!", while out of the wreckage of an exploded Creme Egg the Twisted bar - the evil cousin of the Creme Egg - comes to life and starts causing mayhem with its mission to "release the goo".

In addition, Cadbury says the sampling campaign at the end of the month will have the key message of "Have a Twisted Halloween", again aiming to reinforce the bar’s darker mischievous personality.

Kate Harding, Cadbury UK trade communications manager, says: "The TV ad has been a major contributing factor to the success of the Creme Egg Twisted, which is why we have chosen for it to return to screens from October, to continue promoting the Creme Egg experience throughout the year."
