Brulines Fuel Solutions is changing it name to Vianet Fuel Solutions (VFS), in line with its parent company Brulines Group, which has been renamed Vianet Group. This has been done to reflect the fact that the group has grown into a diverse organisation, with services including data capture, transmission storage and management.
The new name also signals the completion of the process of merging the formerly separate businesses of Edensure, ELS and RFS into a single organisation providing end-to-end fuel asset management. From now on they will all operate as a single company, Vianet Fuel Solutions. Phil Maud, VFS managing director, said: "Through the acquisition of carefully chosen specialist companies, we can offer any fuel-related service to forecourt operators, from full facilities management to small tasks such as meter calibration."
The company has also had its long-standing contract to provide facilities and compliance management solutions to Morrisons estate of more than 300 petrol forecourts and 12 distribution depots renewed for a further five years.
This deal will see the roll-out of the new VFS ’E-Site Register’ at every Morrisons forecourt. This provides Morrisons managers with a web-based dashboard providing visibility of the status of all current, historical and planned maintenance issues on their site.
VFS will also provide all electrical testing and repair services across the Morrisons forecourt estate. Mark Todd, director of petrol at Morrisons, said: "Full availability is a fundamental element of the Morrisons offer and the VFS fuel management system ensures we have full transparency of performance by all our service providers."
