Simon Burnett has joined TSG

Simon Burnett has joined TSG UK Solutions as head of sales for retail and systems. 

With experience at CBE, HTEC/PDI and leading convenience brands including Booker, Londis and Budgens, Burnett says he understands the challenges operators face and is determined to make systems work harder for them.

“I see myself as a solutions provider, not a salesman,” he explains. “The best way to understand a forecourt is to walk the site, talk to the operator and find out what really matters. If the product won’t solve the problem, I’ll say so. The customer comes first.”

His philosophy is simple: build trust, deliver value and create long-term relationships. That means clear demonstrations, practical advice and a commitment to aftersales support. “Selling the whole package is key,” he continues. “When operators know the service and maintenance are in place, they can invest with confidence.”

Simon’s experience spans both technology and retail. At CBE and HTEC/PDI, he worked on integrated systems that streamline payment and station control. His time with Booker, Londis and Budgens gave him insight into convenience retail and the importance of customer experience. “I still think like a retailer, and that helps me understand what operators need.”
