Maggi Soups will now be available from Nestlé Professional for NESCAFE & GO machines, enabling operators to generate incremental turnover in the busy lunchtime period.

The UK soup market is set to grow by 29.5% to £869m between 2013 and 2017 and so the new soups - available in three traditional flavours: Tomato, Chicken and Vegetable - represent an exciting business opportunity, according to Andrew Newson, NESCAFÉ & GO category manager at Nestlé Professional.

“More than 18,000 NESCAFÉ & GO machines have been sold since it was launched in 2007 and we know that NESCAFÉ & GO drinks sell best in the late morning and late afternoon/early evening. The introduction of new Maggi Soups will create a lucrative opportunity for businesses to boost lunchtime sales.”

He says recent research has also shown that lunchtime is the peak time for snack sales and so selling ‘ready to go’ soups when it’s wet and cold outside, provides the perfect chance for operators to profit from this demand.
