HTEC is poised to roll out its new point-of-sale terminal the GemPay Plus, which will replace the Gemini product that is used at more than 5,000 UK sites.
GemPay Plus will put EFT, loyalty and fuel card acceptance on one convenient platform. In addition to processing all major credit and debit cards, the terminal will handle industry fuel cards as well as new Chip & PIN fuel cards for added security.
Meanwhile, HTEC has just received the highest level PCI compliance for its POS and outdoor payment systems, and is preparing to unveil a new outdoor payment terminal with enhanced capabilities next year. The system will have a full colour VGA screen and ability to be touch-screen.
