TLM Technologies has recruited former MRH managing director John Lynn to join its board as a non-executive director, and has signed an alliance with a US software company.

Lynn has more than 30 years’ experience in the downstream oil and convenience industry. Prior to his role at MRH he was a vice president for Chevron Europe with line accountability for eight European markets.

TLM CEO Lee Papper said: “We are thrilled to have John on board. He brings a wealth of experience and industry expertise to TLM and will no doubt be instrumental in steering us forwards. We believe he will expand into his role and be a key contributor towards my vision for the company, particularly outside of the UK.”

Lynn commented: “I am very much looking forward to joining the TLM team. They show a fantastic depth of innovation and passion for what they do, providing industry-leading solutions and services for convenience and fuel businesses across the UK and beyond. I am excited to be part of their future expansion and look forward to contributing to their continued growth.’

TLM chairman Ron Haacke said: “I am delighted with this appointment. John and I have had dealings over a number of years so we know each other well, and I am certain that he will be a major asset to TLM.”

PriceAdvantage, an American fuel price management software company and division of Skyline Products, has agreed a strategic alliance with TLM.

TLM will provide service and support to PriceAdvantage customers located throughout Western Europe and will also focus on the sale of PriceAdvantage fuel pricing software to UK customers which use the Oracle Retail Fuel Station POS (formerly known as Iridium POS).

The alliance follows the addition of Euro Garages to the PriceAdvantage customer portfolio.

“The addition of Euro Garages, along with our global growth, prompted us to expand our world-class support with the addition of a UK-based support team,” explained Chip Stadjuhar, president and CEO of Skyline Products.

“We found the ideal match in TLM Group Technology. They share our philosophy that it takes more than just a great product to create a satisfied customer – it also requires a great overall customer experience.”

“PriceAdvantage has really challenged the market in terms of what fuel pricing software can do,” said Bob Laidlaw, TLM business development director. “This software is easy to install, easy to use, and offers functionality never before seen within our market. It’s a real game-changer for forecourt operators.”
