Nestlé Professional has launched its new Nescafé & Go coffee solution after two years in development.

The new Nescafé & Go machine is designed to enable higher throughput sites within convenience stores, newsagents, bakeries and petrol forecourts, to quickly and cost effectively capture the increasing revenues available in the hot drinks market.

Nescafé & Go offers consumers the choice of up to 10 hot drinks, including Nescafé Gold Blend, Nescafé Cappuccino, Aero Hot Chocolate, Tetley Tea, and three new Maggi soups – Tomato, Chicken, Vegetable.

Lynn Little, standard ingredients lead at Nestlé Professional, said: “As consumer demand for ‘on-the-go’ hot drinks options increases, retailers can benefit from providing customers with a time-saving beverage solution. Nescafé is known for its quality and is the most trusted coffee brand out-of-home. This combination of quality and trust can lead to increased footfall and repeat custom.

“Based on the assumption of 20 cups sold per day, the machine could pay for itself in four weeks – offering a huge profit potential to convenience stores and an approximate incremental turnover of £6,336. What’s more, its compact size means that counter space is not sacrificed.”

Priced at £99 + VAT, the machine is designed with minimal maintenance for the operator in mind. With a large 4.2 litre water tank and no plumbing required, the Nescafé & Go machine can serve 15 drinks before the need for refilling. With an initial heating time of less than 10 minutes, it then stays at a constant temperature allowing hot drinks to be served throughout the day.
