OPW, the US company which last month acquired Fairbanks and earlier this year bought the dispenser and systems divisions of Tokheim, will be exhibiting its newest innovations in fuel management products at UNITI expo in Stuttgart Germany June 14-16.
Products on show include a Fibrelite above ground remote fill sump, a Fibrelite direct fill system, a new OPW CNG pistol-grip nozzle, a compact double-wall KPS elbow and the Integra 3500 forecourt controller. PDQ car wash equipment will also be on the OPW stand.
OPW’s new pistol-grip CNG nozzle enables one-handed operation and a user friendly, familiar lever action. Spout dimension and angle is optimized for best access to difficult fuel points and a 360° inlet swivel minimizes hose binding. Fast-fill capability provides quick fueling of medium storage vehicles. Internal seals are designed for fast-fill NGV filling.
The Fibrelite GRP above ground remote fill sump is claimed to be a world first by OPW. Through collaboration with a global major oil company, the first retro-fit model was designed to replace existing galvanised steel boxes, and connect to existing underground pipework.
Above ground remote fill sumps offer an alternative to traditional galvanised steel. The S20SH-2-AGF model is designed to contain up to seven remote fill lines and one vapour recovery stage VR1b. The design provides secondary containment and the upper spill tray can contain up to 83 litres of discharged fuel.
Another recent innovation that will be on show is the GRP direct fill system, created for the Middle East and African market. These are the newest developments in a long line of firsts, starting from the invention of the very first composite access covers back in 1980.
The new Double-Wall KPS Petrol Pipe System Elbow will allow for compact installations under dispensers with and without dispenser sumps. The elbow comes with full permeation protection as well as conductive lining.
The new fitting has been developed as a result of requests from installers and project managers and is part of the product development roadmap for KPS Petrol Pipe System which focuses on compact fittings and lower permeation. The new elbow will be available for shipment later this year.
The Integra 3500 Forecourt Controller is designed to simplify management of retail fuel sites and reduces equipment expenses by interfacing with all facets of forecourt operations. The Integra 3500 is compatible with a wide range of forecourt equipment brands, integrating with fuel control systems, electronic dispensers, tank gauges, POS systems to provide a comprehensive report of fuel site activities.
