P&C Services has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Kevin Gardiner.

He joins as operations manager for the company’s forecourt small works teams, as well as heading up P&C Progressive, a new tank cleaning and fuel polishing division recently launched by the growing company.

Gardiner has a background covering mechanical and electrical engineering, oil management and health and safety initiatives and having worked for Gulf Oil, Shell Oil, Texaco, Simon Storage and, most recently, Murco Petroleum as Maintenance and Development Manager. His work at Avonmouth, Bristol, won Texaco ‘Most Admired Terminal for Europe Africa and Asia’ thanks to its health and safety initiatives and innovation.

Richard Quarmby, managing director of P&C Services, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Kevin to our management team. With his wealth of experience working for some of the biggest names in oil and a keen eye for health and safety initiatives, we’re pleased to have him on board and look forward to growing the business further with him at the helm of our tank cleaning division.”
