Fairbanks, the global fuel management service provider, has announced that Tony Mills (pictured) is joining the business to deliver the company’s global sales and marketing strategy.
Tony Mills will join the Fairbanks leadership team which includes joint managing directors Steve Jones and Bob Conlin. Bob said "We are committed to growing the business and I am delighted that Tony is joining us. His previous role with OPW as director of engineering and new product development for fuel management products in the US gives him significant experience that we are delighted to acquire."
Steve Jones added: "We were impressed with his passion and drive, along with his depth of understanding about our industry which, combined with his large network of contacts, will help us reach new customers in previously uncharted territories. Tony will be relocating back to the UK with his family and we look forward to introducing him to our existing customers in the coming months."
Tony moved into the fuel management industry shortly after graduating from the University of Bradford with a Bachelor of Engineering degree.
In a career spanning 26 years he has held numerous positions within the field. He was instrumental in the deployment of early ATG-based wet-stock management solutions, and with his former company led its environmental products group.
After obtaining his MBA he played an instrumental role in global business development. He is a member of the BSI and continues to represent the industry on new and emerging EU standards.
