Welcome Break has signed a three-year contract to adopt the Fairbanks wet-stock management service across its network after a pilot.
Welcome Break operates 31 petrol filling stations, supplying Shell, Texaco and BP-branded fuels, throughout the UK and Fairbanks now monitors the entire network.
Within a few weeks of engaging the Fairbanks service, Welcome Break encountered an issue at one of its BP sites. Fairbanks reacted instantly by contacting the site concerned by phone, email and text to ensure that the problem was brought to the immediate attention of the relevant personnel. Helen Rounce, forecourt operations manager for Welcome Break, said: "I was very impressed with Fairbanks’ quick response. The site received a call from one of Fairbanks’ analysts to raise the alarm and provide practical advice a complete step change from what we have experienced with our previous provider. This certainly fills me with confidence."
Fairbanks’ UK sales manager, Matthew Lloyd, said: "We are delighted to secure the Welcome Break contract and I am confident that we will provide an excellent service to Helen and her forecourt network for many years to come."
