6,000 job cuts for Scottish local shops linked to rising cost of employment

In its latest annual figures for the Scottish convenience sector, the Scottish Grocers’ Federation (SGF) has found a reduction in local lifeline services and a 10% drop in staff over the year, amid an increasing cost of doing business which is hammering the sector.
