Fuel supplier Jet is rolling out its ‘Wheel Spins’ gameshow-style customer activation at partner service stations across the UK for another year.
This time sports presenter and content creator Laura Barraclough is the host, dressed in the brand’s yellow and blue colours as she tours sites through to next April.
Jet customers are guaranteed a prize for every spin in the initiative which re-started last month. In this series of visits there will be more chances for motorists to win money off fuel, says Jet, with £1,200 worth given away in two days this April in Kent.
Wheel Spins is now heading to four sites in North Wales – marking the game’s first visit to Wales and giving drivers the chance to win up to £50 off fuel, and other prizes such as dashcams, branded merchandise, and rubber ducks.
Áine Corkery, manager, brand, UK marketing for Phillips 66, the owner of Jet, says that following “the incredible reception to last year’s Wheel Spins, we knew we had to bring it back”.
She adds: “As a driver-first business, we’re always looking for new ways to celebrate Jet customers – and what better way than with random acts of joy through initiatives like this.”
Since launching in summer 2023, Wheel Spins has visited 32 Jet sites – handing out thousands of pounds worth of prizes and generating millions of views across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
