Mark Amor joins Prax Group as managing director, UK downstream

The Prax Group has appointed Mark Amor as managing director, UK downstream.

He will be responsible for overseeing the group’s UK downstream activities, with the exception of Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery, and will report directly to Don Camillo, managing director, Europe & Africa.

Amor joins the group having previously worked for Essar Oil UK, World Fuel Services and BP in a variety of leadership roles.

Commenting on the appointment, Camillo said: “We are delighted to welcome Mark to the Prax Group. His broad experience and comprehensive knowledge of our business make him a strong appointment.

“As a strategic thinker, he is an experienced leader with a proven track record of delivering growth, championing change and building teams. He will be a valuable asset to the group, as we continue towards our vision of becoming an integrated global oil conglomerate.”
