Motorway services operator Moto has appointed Michelle Madeley as operations director on the Moto Operating Board, reporting directly to CEO Ken McMeikan.
She has joined Moto from HMSHost, a subsidiary of Autogrill, a provider of food and beverage services for travellers at locations including airports, motorways and railway stations, where she served as managing director for the UK and France.
She has previously worked as head of retail at Manchester Airport Group and as operations director and business development director at SSP (UK Air).
McMeikan said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Michelle as our new operations director. She has an outstanding track record of leading multi-site operations and driving growth. Her experience will be invaluable as we continue to deliver our vision to transform the UK’s rest stop experience.”
