Officers from Norfolk Police are appealing for dashcam footage after an armed robbery at a petrol station in Ickburgh last week.

Officers were called shortly after 3.10pm on Wednesday 20 July after a man entered a petrol station in Swaffham Road in Ickburgh, removed what appeared to be a knife from a rucksack and then demanded cash and cigarettes from the shop worker.

The suspect got away with a quantity of cash and cigarettes and left in the direction of Ashburton Road. Although the staff member was shaken nobody was physically harmed during the incident.

Officers are keen to hear from any motorist with dashcam footage who was traveling on the A1065 between Swaffham and Mundford immediately before or after the incident.

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact DC Christine Copeman at Swaffham Police Station on 101. Alternatively, they can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 quoting crime investigation number 36/55439/22.
