Robbie Moore: was previously director of trading - convenience at Bestway

New Co-op Wholesale boss Katie Secretan continues to bolster her leadership team, with the appointment of Robbie Moore as trading director.

Previously in the same role at Bestway, Moore will lead Co-op Wholesale’s trading function.

Secretan, who became managing director of Co-op Wholesale after its rebrand from the Nisa wholesale business in March, had already attracted Martin Swadling from Booker as her customer director in October.

The latest appointment highlights Co-op Wholesale’s commitment to expanding its trading capabilities and reinforcing its position as a ”trusted partner for suppliers and customers”, says the business.

Moore brings extensive experience across wholesale and convenience retail, having held senior roles at Spar, Costcutter, and Morrisons.

He has played a ”pivotal part” in driving growth, strengthening supplier partnerships, and enhancing customer value across wholesale and convenience retail channels, says Co-op Wholesale.

In his new role, he will focus on strengthening supplier partnerships, enhancing product and promotional offers, and driving sustainable growth, it says.

Moore says: “This role is about delivering real value to customers while building sustainable growth with our suppliers. I look forward to working with the team to drive innovation and execution across the wholesale channel.”
