More than £10,000 has been stolen from a Hampshire petrol station after three men ram-raided their way into the building.
The attack occurred early on Monday morning at the West End Service Station in Swaythling Road, Southampton.
An assistant was working on the night shift at just after 2am on Monday when he saw a Metro car being reversed into the metal roller shutter covering the front door of the forecourt shop.
Three hooded men ran into the shop and demanded money, and they stole just over £10,000 before leaving on foot leaving.
The cashier was left shocked and frightened by the robbery but was not physically injured.
It is believed the offenders ran through a nearby stream to escape.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the H reg Metro any time after around 8.30pm on Sunday, November 24.
