ACS is encouraging convenience store retailers to get involved in Small Business Saturday 2015, taking place this year on December 5th.

Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities. The day takes place on the first shopping Saturday in December each year.

ACS chief executive James Lowman said: “We are delighted to support Small Business Saturday and will be encouraging local shops across the UK to take part this year on 5th December. Local shops contribute over £37bn to the economy, providing over 407,000 jobs to a diverse range of people in their communities.”

More information about Small Business Saturday can be found at www.smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com where retailers can register their details to be included on the national Small Business Finder, as well as downloading marketing packs for the day.
