Police have released CCTV images following an armed robbery at a Dudley petrol station on Thursday August 13.
The robbery took place at the Shell petrol station on Brettell Lane, Brierely Hill just before 8.30pm.
A man, described as Asian around 5’8” tall and wearing a zip up hoodie, walked into the petrol station and brandished a knife.
Staff saw him approaching and hid in a nearby room as the robber jumped the counter, forced the till open and stole cash.
Detective constable Neil Payton, from Dudley’s Investigation Team, said: “I am sure someone will recognise the man in the images.
“As soon as the man brandished what we believe to be a knife, the staff, aware of what was about to happen, were able to escape and find a place of safety.
“Fortunately they were unharmed but left shaken by their ordeal. We are determined to find this man before he has chance to strike again.
“If anyone has seen anything suspicious or if they know someone who all of a sudden has come into a bit of cash that they cannot explain then please call us.”
Anyone with any information is urged to call West Midlands Police on 101. Alternatively people can leave information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
