LPG fuel supplier Autogas will be showcasing three LPG vehicles at the Cenex low carbon vehicle event, taking place at Millbrook, Bedford, on 9th and 10th September, highlighting the huge variety of businesses and fleets that could benefit from switching to autogas LPG.
An autogas-converted Ford Focus will showcase the potential cost- and emissions-saving combination of a state-of-the-art direct injection, turbocharged petrol engine and the newest generation of autogas LPG system.
A recently converted LPG powered Fiat Doblo van will also be on display available for those with light commercial fleets to try. Featuring brand new technology making it Euro 6 compliant, an LPG powered black taxi, being shown for the first time ever, will also be present on the Autogas stand.
Linda Gomersall, general manager of Autogas commented: “We’re delighted to once again be taking part in the Cenex LCV event, and look forward to introducing visitors to the fantastic variety of autogas LPG powered vehicles we have on display.
“We’re inviting fleet operators and drivers to come and chat with us to see not only how much they could save on fuel costs but also how running vehicles on LPG is a simple and effective way of helping to tackle the growing issue of air pollution in our towns and cities.”
