Top 50 Indie Brobot Petroleum has opened its first greenfield new-build in 20 years, bringing the number of forecourts in its network to 23.
The new-build on the Southern Gateway in Corby, Northants, comprises a four-pump starter gate forecourt plus separate HGV with AdBlue, along with a drive-through car wash, air/water and vacuum, as well as parking for 29 cars.
The forecourt shop is 3,000sq ft and offers a full convenience range plus Costa coffee and hotplate with seating area and wi-fi connectivity. Adjacent to the shop is another 2,000sq ft unit, which as yet remains un-let.
Eddie Bright, director or Brobot, said: “This is the first greenfield build we’ve undertaken for 20 years in defiance of recession and austerity that presently abounds. We have branded the shop under Londis and the fuel under Jet and the unusual modern design makes this site stand out from the norm.”
The site is having a official launch on the weekend of May 25/26. “We will have much activity and special offers to give the site a real kick start,” said Eddie.
