Merseyside Police are appealing for information after a robber made off with a cash box taken from a security guard during a raid at a Liverpool petrol station.
Police were called to the Shell garage in Smithdown Road, Wavertree, at around 11.40am on Friday October 23.
A member of staff reported that money had been stolen from a cash delivery guard by a lone man who is believed to have left the scene in a white car.
There were no reports that the guard had been injured. Unconfirmed reports said that the stolen cash box contained around £10,000.
The entire garage forecourt was closed off to the public following the incident while police investigated.
