The introduction of a sleek new fascia marking a partnership between Co-op and Roadchef has been completed with the addition of an eighth initial location.
The Co-op, at Roadchef Rownhams Westbound Services between J3 and J4 on the M27 north of Southampton, Hampshire, features an in-store bakery and wears a minimalist fascia bearing a ‘Rownhams & Co-op’ denomination that echoes those found at the seven other locations.
The fresh-faced stores have also been introduced at Norton Canes, Chester, Tibshelf, Clacket Lane, Northampton and Strensham North and Southbound services.
When launching the first & Co-op site, at Norton Canes Services on the M6, Co-op Wholesale’s managing director Katie Secretan, said the format will be reserved for select locations, being “held in very high regard, for strategic partnerships”.
