NTS Retail Ltd has recently completed the letting of a former BP Petrol Station in Bridgwater, Somerset, in what it describes as record time.
From first inspection to legal occupation was completed in less than one week. The previous tenant was vacating and NTS Retail was able to act promptly to prevent the site sitting vacant.
NTS Retail, which was formed by Nalliah Tharyaparan (Thaya) in 2012, is expanding rapidly with two further acquisitions expected to complete shortly.
“There were three other bidders on the table and I had to demonstrate I could move quickly,” said Thaya, who is looking for further expansion opportunities.
Mark Frostick from Rapleys, who acted on behalf of NTS Retail, commented: “There is a lot of competition for sites and the ability for a party to move quickly is always going to be looked on favourably.”
The Lyndon Brett Partnership acted on behalf of the freeholder.
