Two Dorset forecourts have been sold as going concerns.
Spur End Service Station in Bournemouth was sold from an asking price of £1.1m to Ed Seaton, an independent multiple forecourt operator from Yeovil, Somerset. The site enjoys a prime location close to a major junction and has a Spar c-store with off licence.
Meanwhile, Redpost Service Station on the main A31 in Winterborne Zelston attracted a guide price of £800,000 following the retirement of its former owner-operator.
Daniel Bowyer of property agents Christie and Co said: “Forecourts with high fuel sales and a retail offering are attracting significant interest from private and corporate operators and can command premium figures.”
