Gilbarco Veeder-Root has finalised the acquisition of the shares of ACIS Benzinkuttechnika Kft., based in Budapest, Hungary, and ACIS Petrolservice Srl., based in Vlahita, Romania, including their operations in Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, and Bulgaria. As new members of the Gilbarco Veeder-Root family, the ACIS companies will change their branding to Gilbarco ACIS.
 

The acquisition strengthens Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s sales channels through direct control of forecourt maintenance and construction.


With 280 associates - including more than 170 highly experienced service engineers - the Gilbarco ACIS group of companies is a leading forecourt construction and maintenance provider in Central Eastern Europe, a leader in sales and service of petrol station equipment, and firmly established as supplier of POS and payment systems in Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia and Bulgaria.

Gilbarco ACIS will continue to operate from its existing facilities throughout Central Eastern Europe. Zsolt Vigh-Bellon will assume overall responsibility for the ACIS group as managing director.
