Gulf has continued its growth in west Wales with retailers Andrew and Chris

James. The James brothers switched to Gulf four years ago at their Siop-y-Ffrydiau site in Canarth which they developed into the area’s biggest service station and c-store, including a 3,000sq ft Nisa store.

They recently unveiled their latest acquisition, Siop-y-Frenni, in Crymych, which has been given a major shop refit with the fuel brand changing from Murco to Gulf. Located on the A478 between Narbeth and Cardigan, the new Crymych forecourt serves a large catchment area, with fuel sales expected to exceed 1.5mlpa in the first year.

Andrew says: "Our first task is to ensure the new site offers the same level of customer service we inherited from the previous owners, then with the right input and work we hope to fulfil its undoubted potential."
